Oak Creek’s Rules & Regulations
Please be sure to abide by the following rules to ensure a safe camping adventure for everyone.
Oak Creek Campground is private property, and we reserve the right to refuse service
to anyone who disregards our policies.
Occupancy: Maximum of 6 persons on each site. This includes infants, guests, and day visitors.
Vehicles:
Maximum of two (2) registered vehicles per site. This also includes guests and visitor vehicles. We have limited overflow parking, please plan ahead. All vehicles must display a car tag.
RVs:
Only one camping unit per site. No tents permitted.
Vehicles: Do not park on empty campsites – all extra vehicles must be parked in the lot behind the camp store.
Guests/Visitors:
Guests & Visitors are permitted to arrive between 9:00AM and 8:00PM and must register at the office upon arrival. Do not have Guests & Visitors go directly to your campsite, even if they are only visiting for a few minutes. Guests & Visitors who have not properly checked into the office upon arrival will immediately be asked to leave the grounds. Please inform your Guests & Visitors of our fees and rules. Guests & Visitors are not permitted to bring pets. Overnight Guests must depart by 3:00PM the following day. Day Visitors must depart by 10:30PM.
Speed Limit:
The park speed limit is 5 MPH. Pedestrians have the right of way. Vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license.
Quiet Time:
Quiet time is from 11:00PM to 8:00AM.
Trash:
Bagged trash only in the dumpsters. All bulk items must be removed from the park. Do not throw lawn chairs, boxes, etc. in the dumpsters.
Recycling:
Aluminum cans may be recycled in the blue barrels next to the dumpsters.
Fishing:
Fishing in Oakley’s Pond is catch and release only. Please use barbless hooks and do not fish with corn. Oakley’s friends can’t digest the corn. Please be careful not to catch Oakley’s gold and orange koi friends.
Alcohol:
Alcoholic beverages are permitted at campsites only. Excessive drinking / rowdiness will not be tolerated. Underage drinking is not permitted.
Dumping:
Black or Grey water may not be drained on the ground. Please use the dump station. This is a State Law.
Water Usage:
Do not wash dishes or laundry in the restrooms or an open faucet.
Campfires:
Always build fires in the designated fire pits.
Prohibited Items:
Chainsaws, slingshots, firearms, fireworks, sparklers, air guns, BB guns, and paint guns are not permitted.
Rules for Children & Their Adults
1. Children under 21 shall not be left in the campground unattended or without a responsible adult.
2.
Children 12 and under must wear helmets while riding bikes or scooters. It’s the State law.
3.
Children under 18 must be back to the campsite by 10:00PM.
4.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the restrooms. Help us keep these facilities clean by picking up after yourselves.
5.
Skateboards or rollerblades are not permitted.
6.
No bike riding on any of the hills in the campground or after dark.
7.
Please refrain from riding bikes in front of the camp store. Speed bumps are not to be used for stunt riding.
8.
Do not throw stones, logs, or debris into the creek or the pond.
9.
Please do not build dams or move the rocks in the creek.
10.
Please use pathways and roads to get from here to there. Do not cut through occupied or unoccupied sites.
Pets
1. Pitbulls / pitbull mixes/ aggressive dogs are not permitted.
2.
Keep your pet leashed and under control at all times. Excessive barking will result in you being asked to leave the park. Do not leave pets unattended.
3.
Pets are not permitted in or around the cabins or cottages.
4.
Pets are not permitted in the restrooms, pool, and public buildings. Please be mindful of those who have pet allergies.
We reserve the right to evict – without refund – any camper or camping group
who creates a nuisance or disturbance or breaks any of the above rules.
Cancellation Policy
Sites: Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of the initial deposit less a $15.00 handling fee per reservation. All refunds are issued in the same manner in which payment was received. All cancellations received between 10 and 30 days prior to arrival will be issued a rain check less a $15.00 handling fee per reservation. A rain check includes the initial deposit being applied to your account for future use and expires one year from the date of issuance. Any cancellation received less than 10 days prior to arrival will NOT receive a refund or rain check, and is not transferable. No refunds for early departure or inclement weather. You are responsible to pay for the days in which you booked upon arrival. There will be no exceptions.
Cabins and Cottages: Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of the initial deposit less a $25.00 handling fee per reservation. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival require re-rental of the unit. Refunds issued after re-rental of the unit are also subject to a $25.00 handling fee per reservation. No refunds for early departure or inclement weather. You are responsible to pay for the days in which you booked upon arrival. There will be no exceptions.
